The birds follow the farm’s vaccination programme and applicable animal-health requirements.
The birds are fed Meadow Feeds broiler feed only. The farm adds no other feed, supplements or medications unless separately recorded.
The birds are taken to a registered abattoir at approximately five weeks of age. The dressed carcasses are chilled overnight in the abattoir cold room.
Birds collected or delivered on the scheduled abattoir collection day are supplied fresh, chilled and never frozen. Birds held for a later date are frozen and supplied as frozen.
Broilers are sold according to dressed weight at R65 per kilogram. The average dressed weight is approximately 1.6–2kg per bird.
The manufactured feed may contain registered stock remedies or other feed additives. The farm therefore does not describe the birds as antibiotic-free, additive-free, hormone-free or growth-enhancer-free.

Garden beds lose organic matter over time, leaving soil harder to manage and quicker to dry out. Add screened compost to support soil structure, moisture management and biological activity. Give your seedlings, vegetables and ornamentals a stronger growing foundation.

CluckPost Screened Farm Compost is supplied in 50kg bags. Each bag contains approximately 90 litres and sells for R100.
The current compost is made from commercially mulched garden refuse and clean, plain shredded cardboard.
The cardboard is used as a carbon-rich brown material. It helps balance green garden material, manage moisture and support pile structure when properly shredded and mixed.
Plastic-lined, wax-coated, glossy or contaminated cardboard is excluded. Tape, labels, staples and other non-compostable attachments are removed.
The compost pile is aerated once a week and covered with black plastic to help manage moisture and support decomposition.
The compost is screened and produced entirely from organic materials. It is not certified organic and has not been laboratory tested.
Natural variation between batches can occur. The farm does not claim a nutrient analysis, guaranteed yield, weed-free status or pathogen-free status.
